Hey Jess, I've been reading your blog/other website for a looooong time. When you switched to your current blog I tried to subscribe to it in my Google Reader. It seems to work but it only allows me to see part of your post. Has anyone else mentioned this before. I'm not sure if it's something on your end or on mine but I have had this problem with other blogs but then the blogger changed it, just wondering! Keep up the awesome work!
Hey Kristin... thanks for reading and thanks for the comment. It isn't a glitch -- I've actually chosen to only allow abbreviated posts in feed readers. I know that is annoying, and I'm sorry... the reason for this is so that you HAVE to visit my site in order to read the whole post, rather than just reading it through the reader. I do not plan on doing this forever, but since this is a newish blog and I'm trying to increase my readership stats (someday I'd like to monetize the blog, and in order to do that, I have to know how many people are reading it -- and sitemeter / google analytics won't count readers that view through a reader).
Sorry for the inconvenience, I promise that I'll start publishing a full feed soon!
